Lohman Stables welcomes Kat Rodda and her family to the barn! We look forward to working with Kat to achieve her riding and showing goals!

Way to go Sadie!!

Sadie Kanner and her wonderful gelding, 34th Street, led the victory gallop in the prestigious VHSA Children's Medal Finals on Friday, August 13th at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, VA. Sadie has worked extremely hard all year to set her sights on year-end equitation finals. Lohman Stables is thrilled with her win and looks forward to cheering her on at the MHSA Equitation Finals and the Gittings Horsemanship Finals later this fall.

Way to Go Graduates!!

Lohman Stables is proud of its Class of 2010 high school and college graduates. Dani Drezner has graduated from University of Southern California. Alex Finder (pictured right) has graduated from University of Georgia. Haley Funger will be graduating high school and attending Wake Forrest in the fall. While Morgane Amat has graduated high school, and will be heading north to Connecticut College in August. Good job girls!

The Magner Family congratulates Annika Goodman on the purchase of Angel for her daughter, Ava. Everyone at Lohman Stables will surely miss Angel, but we look forward to seeing Angel and Ava collecting lots of ribbons in Leadline and Short Stirrup!

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Courtney Cummings and Simon Sez on a successful Ocala Winter Circuit. Courtney picked up the catch ride for trainers Paul and Wendy Matthews. Courtney and "Simon" were champions in the middle section of Adult Amateurs during weeks 3 and 4 of Ocala. Simon Sez is owned by Christine Schreck.

A job well done to Hannah Itell and Bailey Boyland who were named Best Junior Rider and Best Child Rider, respectively, at the Virginia Intermont Classic held in Lexington, VA March 4-7. Great job girls!!
